Potters Wheel

Three basic potters wheel techniques are employed: plates, bowls, and cups. Various amounts of Studio clay are being used, the specific amount of clay is listed in the Claybody line of the Project notes.

Hand Building

Hand building techniques from pinch pots to slab construction to extrusion are combined to enhance artistic expression of projects.

Glazes & Notes

These projects document an exploration of experiences using different glazes: Cone 10, Cone 6, and Raku glazes. Techniques for applying glazes and glaze combinations are tested to examine mobility effects and colors.
